Vintage Steak House - Independence

So beautiful! I ordered to get food, but then I changed my mind and ate. They were so nice and set me up with a table and a glass of water. Very accommodating. The food was good! Great experience everywhere.

This was my first time in this place, our server was Brenda and when we sat, we realized that the table was not big enough for the crowd of people we had. The manager who was on the front got us another table and put them together and we had plenty of space. Brenda was friendly going out and very jovial. We were there for a birthday party and they definitely gave us a great service. When they presented the birthday boy with their birthday Sunday, another manager surprised the rest of us at the table with two humble slices of chocolate cake and ice cream. He said everyone should get cake and ice cream on a birthday party. Hands down, this place knows how to customer service and do it right. I was pleasantly surprised and then blown away how well we were treated. I'll tell everyone I know how fantastic this LongHorn restaurant is. I want to be back.

The Texas Onion and Strawberry Mango Margaritas are great! My wife absolutely loved her ribbed eye and I enjoyed my salmon! It was a great experience!

You know how big chain restaurants can be. The quality varies from location to location, probably due to the way they are managed. We had a really good meal at this place yesterday. We were in the area, made shopping, marched a few steaks and were not disappointed. Friendly, quick service. Steaks cooked perfectly. Do you sometimes know a salad that's not so fresh? Not here. I would have to say the same quality as Hereford House my gold standard for less than half the price. Hasn't met the manager, but whoever it is has a good crew here.

Wild West Shrimp appetizer was excellent as was the Shrimp and Corn Chowder. Fries were not as good as some of their competitors. They could also use a better selection of craft beer. Our server, Brenda, did a great job attending to our needs.
