The Wave - Imperial Beach

Relaxed atmosphere, good coffee, and eggs Benedict is pretty good as well. I think for the price could offer more but overall not bad. The French toast and Belgium waffles are very good. Perfect balance of ingredients in the French toast was very surprised how well made it was. I'd recommend giving this place a shot. Compared to last year I came here it seems to have improved a lot, in taste and experience.

Amazing service and great food! Waitress was super friendly....even gave our five-year-old son another full service of French toast without additional fee (which he could not finish). Great location, rear parking lot.

Was going to eat at sea180 for breakfast today, but after a run in with the manager, we decided to never eat there again. So we walked across the street to the Wave Cafe. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel like we were a regular. Service was a 17 out of 10. The portions were huge (almost enough for 2 people). The taste of the food was second to none. The best chicken fried steak I've had. My wife, is still talking about the hashbrowns she had today. The point of this review is simple. Dont get caught up in a big to do about a buffet brunch. Go across the street and get treated like a local, and enjoy an amazing meal.

I really enjoy this place. It's a quaint café located just across the street from the pier. The food is better than average and served quickly. The service is incredibly friendly, making you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer. The breakfast burrito was the perfect size and tasted fantastic. This is my second day in a row dining here, and I plan to return whenever I'm back in San Diego.
