With creativity, attention to impeccable details, and you can taste the love baked. The only surprise wasn't bad. Just go there to know that there are no inside seats. You will place your order with Shirley, in a tiny location on the Imperial Beach Pier/Boardwalk. Wait outside under umbrella covered concrete tables, or stand inside talking to Mark how he lovingly prepares excellent foods, produced to order. Fresh pizzas and the best soft pulps I've ever eaten. Thank you.
Awesome location. Love the casual atmosphere right on the beach. Moved to the area a couple months ago and have been here about a half dozen times now. They seem to have high quality ingredients and some items I tried, although not all, were very tasty and well executed. My favorite items so far are the salt pretzel, cheese pretzel, ALL the homemade soups, and the hotdogs. My 4-year old son is sometimes a picky eater and he loved all these items as well. Can't wait to try more of the items on their menu as I make more visits to beautiful Imperial Beach!
We visited the city and ate here in a mood. I'm so glad we did it. We ordered 3 different types of their pretzel dogs that were all really good, but their garlic parmesan Brezel dog was the best. They had also made household waste to immerse your Brezel dog that were all delicious. Everything is made fresh so make sure you have about 15 minutes to wait while they prepare it. The service was also very friendly. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
Nice surprise! For the most part, I avoid all the food centres beside any tourist spots, beaches, etc., as I generally feel that these places have spent all their money on their rental contract and not on good food. After seeing great reviews for this place, I decided to give him an attempt. Basically connected to the IB pier, the location is great and you can be a few steps and on the beach. When we got up, there was a jazz return from Hey Jude, which played on a front speaker. The store was small, and not much room inside, except to order and take a drink from the refrigerator. However, there were outdoor tables and seating and many places nearby to sit when the tables are full. The lady, I suppose one of the owners, gave us a kind greeting and was very patient with us when we tried to find out what we wanted. She was helpful in explaining the variety of dipping sauces they had and pages. We finally finished our order, and the guy works (man? We grabbed a covered table and sat down and listened to the jazzy Beatles covers and people. Not long after, the lady catches my attention when I went on the door and let us know that our order was ready (I think they use the speaker name if you are not close. There were a variety of sauces and mustards (a lot freshly made by the owners, and since we couldn't decide exactly what we wanted, the lady took a paperboard and basically gave us a sampler of all sauces, and put them on the paperboard like a painter palette, which everyone was. Have not met so nice and helpful people in a food community in a long time. Now for dinner! We have a sandwich, a hearty crepe and a salted pulp. It was simple breakfast brunchy meal, and I just expected it average quality as it was a place right on the beach, and was quite cheap. To my surprise, our food was really delicious! The crepe was filled with a good amount of meat and cheese, was perfectly cooked, and was perfectly folded together to make it easy to eat. The veggie sandwich was perfectly roasted and had exactly the right amount of everything to give it a good taste. The pulp was kind of fluffy, but still crispy on the outside, warm and damp. I don't know how they did it, I'm used to those who serve them to most other Brezel sites that always taste kind of stale. We dived our pulps into the range of painters sauces, and they were all good, and had very different flavors. I don't remember what it was, but my favorite was the dark purple. I'll go back to taste more of her food! Total, great place! Very reasonable prices and delicious food! Great location, good music and friendly staff. I had not expected to write an essay lol, but this place definitely deserves its good reviews.
Definitely the BEST ACAI shell in CA!!! It's made with love! And they're supposed to die. All there is is to order fresh and it is always good. And Mark and Shirley are friendly and helpful
