Seems high for Italy but it 's one of the cheapest at the airport and as far as the speed and food up on the top. That said the service is bad, nobody is allowed to seat by the window... why? I have been 5 times here but the seats by the window are always closed .
After eating pasta and pizza in Italy for a week we decided to take a break and get some ramen at the airport. I'm so glad we did because this ramen was delicious. I got the spicy beef ramen which was flavorful and the meat was perfect. The service was outstanding and took less then 10 minutes to get our food with a relatively busy restaurant. I would recommend this to anyone needing a break from all the Italian food!
We were in roma airport with luckily over 2 hours to spare. Put in our order for ramen because son wanted it, roght before 10...noticed 10.30, what is taking so long, but our pager didnt go off. Looked over at asian group that was in line, then sat and then got their food...and we still hadnt. I went to the person helping set food tray. She initially shooed me away said they'd call us. But i went back immediately and said we had been there for almost an hour...she then told me she called us but we left. I told her we never left. She flipped between telling us not to worry but then repeating that we had left, that she called. I was so upset, she had me yelling, acting like it was our fault. They at least gave us back our money and i ended getting 2 slices of pizza for half the price, which was good.
I was walking around the airport looking for something other than deli sandwiches to eat and I'm so glad I found Ajisen! I've had ramen from here a few times in Asia and I never expected to see one in Rome. We sat down and ordered a beef ramen with a lemon Schweppes to share. To be honest, we just had breakfast and wasn't too hungry but when I saw Ajisen, I knew I had to have a little. The beef was juicy and tender and the ramen was absolutely delicious. We devoured the bowl in a few minutes!
I had the Ajisen ramen and my wife had the fried rice. My ramen dish had 3 slices of pork and half a hard boiled egg. The rent dish wasn't anything special, just a little pricey for what I got. My wife's fried rice seemed like it was baked. It didn't have any real components of being fries in a wok. I realize we are at the airport. But if this place were outside the airport, I would venture to another place.
