Izakaya Asian Kitchen - Ibiza

Our visit to Izakaya in Ibiza was an absolute delight! This hidden gem exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the authentic atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the staff. The owner, who happened to be a friend of my friend, joined us and made our evening even more special. The menu at Izakaya offered a tantalizing selection of Japanese cuisine, and each dish was a work of art. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was impeccable. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh, and the grill offerings were mouthwatering. The staff's attention to detail and knowledge of the menu truly enhanced our dining experience. We have had a great dinner but our waiter was acting arrogant and rude. He wouldn’t let us finish our sentences . I am not used to fill my own glass of wine in this kind of segment dining. The first glass was filled by a lovely hostess and after that no one else did. The waiter didn’t even looked at us while getting our order, while 1 of the ladies only understood French and I was doing the ordering for her, he was ignoring me once again and talked English to the lady but she couldn’t understand what he was saying. After the 2nd round came another lady asked what he served her and then he began to laugh at her and said ; that’s what you ordered! To bad that the waiter kind of ruined our evening.

I live in Ibiza and I love trying different restaurants in the island. What stands out os Izakaya is its service. Camilo is a super star very friendly and they always know how to recommend you good dishes or sakes (we are sake lovers). The atmosphere is really charming as from outside doesn’t look as anything interesting as it seems a very tiny place but when you are inside it feels really good to sit around the little pool they have and normally there is always nice vibe between the clients there. The food it’s very good I would say the sushi rolls could be a bit more creative because it’s not a place that I would go to try any special roll but the gyozas with foie are top although at the beginning of the summer they seemed to have more meet that in the other times I ordered after. The spinach salad is also really good. Ribs too fatty but depends on your taste. It’s always good also just to pass by to have a drink as the vibe is really good.

A restaurant they must visit when they are in ibiza. good food, great cocktails. the service is very professional. we tried the Toro tar on Mormori ice cream, spinat with grill garnel, crispy crabs with mango and grilling spade. a real sensation, and as dessert, a miraacel: chocolate snow and frozen yogurt.
