The Terrace Tea Rooms At Oswaldtwistle Mills

We stopped in for a drink while shopping at the bubble factory. We both enjoyed the Black Forest Hot Chocolate and a delicious mince pie. Season's Greetings!

The portion sizes are very small for the high prices. Sandwiches come with a small amount of coleslaw and only a few crisps. The milkshakes and coffee are good though.

I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The egg sandwich was decent, but the thin ham and lettuce sandwich was questionable. I was surprised by the cream cheese sandwich choice. The scones were tasty and the cakes were average, but the pot of tea was too watery. When we asked for a refill, we were charged for two extra pots just because we were a couple. Overall, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.

Had to wait 10 minutes when staff had nobody else to serve, staff too busy talking about social life, when coffee was brought to table no apology to say sorry to keep you no contact all had to put own cup onto saucers as just put onto tray, won’t be going back .

Come here every week on a Wednesday (4 of us) often having lunch too. Good food, the ladies (and young men) who work here always look after us and are lovely and always have time to have a natter with us.
