The food is delicious, the service is outstanding and the owners are so welcoming.
Love the food wished they made big taco truck burritos like El rodeo though
I grew up in a small city, Passaic, NJ which is predominantly Mexcican. I say that to my privilege of experiencing authentic Mexican food growing up you don't find in restaurants. as I got older and traveled I also experienced Mexican cuisine from New York City to California. I've always said that my hometown of Passaic is where the big Mexican food in the USA is and I never thought I'd say this but I was wrong. The best Mexican cuisine is right here in Hutchinson, Kansas. First off, the ambiance gives family owned, which I love. I rather give my business and support local business than chains and franchises. I felt like I was back home and coming from the east coast to the Midwest is a very difficult feeling to capture. We even sat outside and it was a great experience especially there were NO bugs. Yay. The service, 100/10. I believe it was the owner, who came and checked in on us and the other owner walking into the building chatted with us for a moment as well. We were not left outside to fend for ourselves like I've experienced so many times. Now let's talk about the food. We had the taco plates. A simple dish yet the flavors were anything but simple. I had 2 Asada tacos and a pastor taco, side of rice and beans. I could cry, I promise I'm not being dramatic, at how delicious this was. Every piece of this meal had flavors that excited my pallet. The Asada was QUALITY. I just know it had to have been marinated for eternity. The sauces? Id drink them. That's how delicious they are. They each are unique, not spicy with a favorable texture. I'm next to speechless honestly and I'm thankful that this place exist. There is a lot of love, passion, and flavor into this restaurant and I will be back again...many times!
Would be nice to update hours somewhere online if closed for the summer.Edit in response to reply: Out of state tourists short on time are not going to explore Facebook. Google should be the one stop shop. It’s possible to update it to “temporarily closed”
