The New Fox & Hounds Restaurant

I came to eat them a few weeks ago. at first I didn't want to leave a review because I had a few meal times in this restaurant that were great, but the more I thought I felt like I had to share my experience. So, we were sitting at the arrival. the hostess was not the friendly, but our server was great. now this restaurant offers a free dinner entrees, which is great. now my friend is a vegetarian and this restaurant has limited options, so she asked for the lobster mac and cheese without the lobster that is essentially makkaroni and cheese, and I had the baked chicken gutter. Unfortunately, my meal was not so great that the gravy tasted like canned and sweet seemed frozen. when our bill came, they gave me my meal free and charged us $42,00 for makkaroni and cheese. I felt complaining, but one of our meals was free. I just feel like eating is too expensive and it reminds me of quieting home. I don't think I'm back. even if they give me a free meal during a pandemic and food shortage.

I am a loss to explain the number of enthusiastic reviews for this restaurant! my man and I (from the state) and WONDERFUL friends (I would consider them a family) in the restaurant yesterday evening gedimt while spending the weekend, they were in hardford (about 20 minutes from hubertus.) apart from their oldest daughters and friends of the daughters, we always delegate the selection of restaurants to our friends, as we are not familiar with local places. in the run of the years we have eaten in a lot of restaurants in the opposite, some good, some excellent. this is the first time that we have ever been extremely disappointed. where do I start? we were sitting immediately (our friends had made reservations) and greeted by the server who was beautiful and whom I had no complaints about. if any, the service was too good our escapes were delivered immediately after removing the suppe and salat dishes. both my man and I ordered the pasta and the sweet, which appeared as the only deer without meat/Fowl/Seafood. the dish was certainly nothing special, the sweet was attractive and not overcooked. the portion size was generous. the three younger children (age 7-middle school) ordered from the children's menu and seemed to enjoy their meals. the 3 teens and our friends ordered a lot of dressed, all enjoyed their meal, and several rest were later fought to take home. everyone was happy with the warm bread varieties. no appetizers, desserts or alcohol were ordered if I am not mistaken, we all drank water. I had noticed when I originally read the menu that surprisingly high prices. In addition, the server had already explained the two earlier for a pricing, including the exceptions. there were 10 of us (7 are 18 and older, 3 children.) the same, I was taken back when the check arrived: $319.56 (written with original on the paper) and a second version, marked ending total $202.49 the suggested congratulate, below for [m] convenient printed was based on the original total (i.e. 15% $45.44, 20% $60.48) I chose 15, Although I have eaten all over the country (although I am certainly not a food, I have never paid such an inflated price for a meal that I thought was in order, but nothing special. in the course of the years we have eaten a few times in the mineshaft, a low-priced family restaurant in Hartford, which is located in the possession of the same people, where the food and services are not worse and much better appropriate. a vegetarian option, according to my opinion, not as vegetarian friendly qualified I am mystified by the number of very positive reviews. I do not doubt that the diners enjoyed their meal, but as they can consider the worth as suitable, I cannot explain. Given the local and national economy, many people in the region need to do exceptionally well. I wrote to my daughter who lives in brooklyn ny, and joked that these were manhattan prizes. I could never have noticed that a restaurant like fox and hounds could be so good for so long. I don't bury the owners their success and I'm glad so many people find the restaurant so special. it was not a BAD experience, it was satisfactory and terrible overpriced. in my opinion, there are many other restaurants nearby, where an equally satisfying food is to have a much more reasonable price. is pre-warned.

It was absolutely delicious! I am here to visit my son and his friend and he chose the restaurant for his birthday. it is not a restaurant along the main street, so if they are from wisconsin, they probably know about it and when they visit, they must hear about it to find it. each escap has a thema. we sat in Hunt rooms that had many heads on the wall. huge moose over the coat. there is a lot of interesting story about the restaurant when they make a search. the meals are a bit expensive, but they run a special constantly with buying a food and get the second free. the dessert menu is the same. buy one and get one free. the menu has a lot to choose and the portions are generous. I had the new york strip steak and it was perfectly cooked.

Overpriced medium food, slow service and a server that made a very unpleasant mistake. I have taken my jack and cash, without my 30 dollar change in the table returned and informed me that the 30 that they decided to keep was not 15 percent, and hit by tapping on the input that I have more of a tip to hit the 15 percent mark. I was confiscated by this absolutely, and you said that the change should certainly have been brought back to me and at that time I would have chosen to add it and most likely would have yielded a 20 percent tip. I'm 50. Am I out of touch? is that as it is out there? if so, I'm just gonna cook home, go forward. I am a 25-year-old local to this facility, but now I will be a stranger. oh yes, had to wait almost an hour and a half for eating in a slow night. bad experience.

The hostess was so so but the bartenders were good. We were early so we waitied in the bar area which was very warm and inviting. the entire atmosphere took us back in time. Our waitress was Lisa and she was amazing! Never had such a great experience with servers. Our food was hot and delicious! We will defiantly be back and already have recommended this place to many people.
