King's Bbq - Houston

Big grill and much more! besides good bbq, they have burger, homemade chicken strips, wobble rings, tacos. everything, but lasagna (in sure, they would try to make it if they asked nicely. when you see it going in and you won't regret it. it's in a stripe shopping center next to a gas station and an African food store and looks like nothing, but it's great!

This is a great find. The place is clean and people are very nice. The meats looks deliciously done. Especially loved that baked potato with brisket. You can even see how nicely the brisket and sausages slice to see how tender the food is done. The prices are well below other places who charge normally a few dollars more per pound. Really nice little restaurant either for take out or eating in or for a nice quick lunch.

No flavor. Being I own a BBQ joint I really try to leave my bias and truly make it a learning experience. This tasted like the pre-made stuff that comes off of a food truck. The potato salad was from a box. Beans had no flavor. Even the sauce is someone else's sauce. Nothing authentic about this place. They say cooked in one location and shipped in daily. Sorry, I couldn't even finish my plate.

Terrible grill. from the unobstructed, dry meat (ordered 3 different meats and they were all tasteless and bone-dried) to the tasteless shlupf, which they call beside dishes, this eating is just a bath. I don't know what's worse, the quality of this food, or the fact that she thought it was okay to serve such terrible food. definitiw my money wasted and will not come back.

Great food, great service until the next time two exfoliated.
