The Chili-Käsekoney is tasty, but, for many years, has been living in Michigan (the home town of Koneys), it is definitely not a real coney. Prices are also somewhat steep. I tried to order a hot dog in Seattle style, but found out that they no longer have it on the menu, so that was disappointing.
Stopped by and went through the drive-thru to get some articles for some family members. At the time of arrival there was no one in the Drive-Thru. We looked at the menu and made our selection. The employee was very polite when we arrived and told us to let them know when we were ready to order. We arrived in the window and it didn't take long to get our order. When we arrived home, the order was accurate and everything tasted great for my family members. During this visit we ordered the Hungry Man Combo, a Chili Cheese Hot Dog and a Frito Pie.
The food was good and fast. Place was clean and fresh.
I have visited James Coney Island for over 50 years, and according to my taste buds, there is a dramatic reduction in the ingredients that improves the original taste in today's products. You should probably get back to your recipe, and get a greater profit through use, quality over quantity, and can your taste buds have a pleasant, juicy journey, in pursuit of the heavens of perfect cuisine, mercy.
My Wife and I stopped in for a quick bite for supper. The Walker St. Is my usual option with a Chicago dog. They do a great job on quality and freshness.
