House of Pies - Houston

Perfect! If you like cake, you will absolutely love this place. If you don't like cake, this place will change your mind. You also have an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm glad to say that breakfast is always available no matter how late it is! I ordered the chicken ducks. They had a really big taste, full of taste. The sauce they use on these tacos is very spicy to let my mouth and lips burn, so if you do not like spicy food, order this dish without the sauce. I enjoyed my meal, but next time I'll skip the sauce. I ordered a piece of chocolate cream cake to go, because how can you go to the house of the Pies without getting cake??

After dinner came a night here to have a late dessert. We ordered Bayou goo and lemon balms. The bayo goo is the house special and what I would recommend would try every first timer, provided you are not allergic to nuts. The lemon melissa was saddened, but not to bet! The coin was really good. Service was fast and friendly. Our pie slices collectively cost about $10, which is pretty okay considering how big the slices were.

Food was great and quickly came out. Service was quiet, but attentive and friendly. Can't go wrong with delicious diner food and dessert. The chicken pancakes were hearty and filled. My wife loved her tuna melt. Both meals had good portions for the Preisimo. The cakes we were wonderful, big slices that were delicious. We had the banana cream and the French silk, I recommend it when you get the chance. I hope to come back to try the others. Came back and it's still as good as before. The chicken salad sandwich was delicious and filled. Tried the Coconut Cutard and the Lemon Melissa and they were fantastic.

All we ordered was fresh, made from scratch and absolutely delicious! The cookies and the engraving were perfectly baked and hot pierced. I ordered the waffle plate and was not disappointed. The waffle was perfectly cooked and the right amount of fluffy. The proteins, cheese and avocado were cooked exactly right and delicious. My partner ordered the Texan Omelet with haash browns and was absolutely satisfied. He said everything was perfectly cooked and loved the fullness of Jalapeños. We ordered strawberry rhubarb and buttermilk cake to go and finished them in the restaurant. Everything was absolutely delicious! This restaurant is not disappointed and definitely worth a try.

House of Pies was great! It was our first time there and we Went on a Sunday morning, but didn?t wait at all. Our waitress wasn?t very talkative, but she took our order and the service getting our food was fast and delicious. I Tried there Peach Pie Butter pecan cake. Both were AMAZING DELICIOUS!! Definitely going back when we?re in Houston, Tx
