Update 05/07 this place never misses food wise and customer service wise hands down the best dont doubt it and give them a try you wont regret it breakfast brunch keeps us coming back... Went for the first time and had the brunch buffet it was fantastic super delicious and filling and a good amount of options an the service was outstanding definitely will be going back and recommending

The most authentic and extremely tasty Mexican restaurant in Houston. Nice comfortable family atmosphere and music. Open kitchen and great attentive waitresses. Try the Tres Leches in the end, very different from the generic sponge cake based Tres Leches from other places.

My first time trying the tamales from this place and they were a thousand times better than dona teres. They're small but flavorful and not dry. Today 4/27/23 I stopped by to grab something for breakfast. I was offered a free coffee while waiting for my food and that was nice. I ended up ordering lunch (tricolor enchiladas) not too crazy about the mole or the red one, but I loved the green one, the white rice and the refried beans were good too. The place looks clean and well kept, the decorations give it a nice touch.

I have Fonda Santa Rosa on repeat????I love the cafe de olla and pozole. I tried the flautas and tacos today. Very pleased and will be back
