The Boathouse At City Point - Hopewell

Hard to find, especially in the night, but the effort worth it. the interieur is elegant, but casual. the view of the river is spectacular, as well as the food service. everything we ordered was exquisite. the caesar salat had made home dressing was better that everyone I ever had. that is the best restaurant in the district richmond.

Beautiful ambiente, good service and excellent eating. the calamari was quite good and the aioli was delicious. the garnel and grits, I highly recommend. Tequila shooter is great, but very sharp, so be warned. the crème brûlée is excellent my only complaining is that they extra ask them to sit outside.

Overall it was a good experience. the escape we got were great, but the appetizers were just okay. I have the rock fish that was perfectly seasoned, and the friend got the garnel and grits that was also very good. I had to hold on to my fish with 6 potato chips.

Lourdes was a great member of the waitstaff!!! Food excellent as always!!! Tried one of the new entrees on the menu and of course started with the Brussel sprouts and calamari!!! Great evening at the Boathouse!!!
