Thai Issan Cuisine Waikiki - Honolulu

The place is nice from the inside and outside. However the food is not real Italian or near from it and it can be called Italian mixed with Asian. I can tell from the spices they using and the way they served the food that not Italian but the name of the restaurant. The service was good . Tiramisu was bad for me.

If you crave tummy, fresh Italian pasta, GO. Absolutely magnifique Follow your chefs recommendation on choice of pasta because there is a suggested pairing for almost each dish. Very cute outdoors seating. I totally recommend the tako salad (octopus seared to perfection. Prepare to fight for the last piece. I loved every pasta i tried but so far, the Bolognese pasta with pappardelle is my favorite … for now :

My husband and I stumbled on this little place when another Italian place didn’t serve wine. So very glad! The food is authentic and amazing and honestly we don’t mind the price. Service can be slow, but we don’t care. We never feel rushed. Everyone is friendly. It’s little and quaint but the food is on point. You must try the creme brûlée cheesecake.

Mediterraneo exceeded my expectations. Had the Tako Salad and Caprese as appetizers, and Mare Nero as my entrée. Everything was delicious. Great customer service. I will be coming back to try out the rest of the menu and for more Tako Salad.

It’s the most tastiest, authentic Italian food that I eat for a while, they make their own cheese, and I don’t think I ever see any restaurant who make their own cheese! Highly recommend it!!!!
