Proof Social Club - Honolulu

The club advertised a bar crawl costume contest with a $2000 prize, encouraging guests to come in costumes. However, there was no registration process in place; no one collected information apart from checking IDs, and guests received a lanyard that granted them one free jello shot and two drinks. A photographer was present to take pictures and hand out maps, yet there was no actual contest held. Many people showed up, with tickets costing $20 online. I noticed some individuals entering for free at the door. Due to overcrowding, many had to wait outside until others exited, and it felt quite hot inside. As for the restrooms, one stall in the ladies' room was operational, while the second was out of service all night. Despite the chaos, many attendees were dressed in costumes, enjoying drinks and ordering pizza, and stayed until the bar closed. When I inquired about the supposed costume contest, the staff seemed clueless.

Fantastic cocktails and delicious house-made bread! The atmosphere is lively with fun music and entertaining show nights. The service is attentive as well.

The pizza and service at Pizza-Untermid were both disappointing—definitely not what I expected. If you're looking to be left alone while enjoying below-average pizza and beer, this is the place for you. My $24 pizza and onion dish barely filled a quarter of the box. In fact, I was able to fit the pizza from my first box into the second box along with the au jus! Maybe they should consider using smaller boxes?

Great mood, delicious brunch and friendly staff. A/C was a plus after a hot bike tour. I would definitely recommend this place.
