Waved the manager(? a couple times after being seated and she acknowledged us but took no action and had to wait for 20 minutes before I stopped a server to get service.The server who was serving the very next table served the table their drinks, food, and other additional items.When I stopped him and asked for service he simply states, "I wasn 't assigned you. "When complained, the manager came over and tried to explain that the server was busy making his routine and that he had to complete a table before accepting us and claimed, "this is how it is in Hawaii. "I told her that I live here and she went quiet and just walked away.Maybe it is my fault trying to spend time at the town side.Food was okay but I won 't recommend the ikura-don(Salman roe ; it was way too salty.

This was a great find in Waikiki Beach area. We had dinner there on a couple of occasions while in area. Excellent choice of dishes including a set meal . Restaurant was very accommodating given dietary restrictions for one of our group. Staff were also friendly. There can be a line at times.Food: 5/5

Excellent sushi, teriyaki chicken, and miso soup. I had sushi and my husband had chicken meal. Both of us enjoyed our meals. Everything was very fresh and flavorful.

Highly recommend! We went for dinner on a weeknight and it was perfect excellent rolls, pickled vegetables, and their red bull cocktail was a surprising hit! Our waitress and super sweet. Quiet atmosphere near the old banyan tree. A must visit for sushi lovers!
