Southern Spice - Hollywood

I was in Hollywood for a conference and wanted to find somewhere to eat that wasn't in the beach area. I was thrilled with our experience at Southern Spice. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, and I was impressed by how quickly the food arrived and how delicious it was. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles, which came with three large pieces of chicken. I had the shrimp and grits, and they were the most unique grits I've ever tasted. I could taste the condensed milk in them, and they had a slight kick to complement the large shrimp. We also tried the sweet potato fritters, which were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily travel 45 minutes to dine here again.

I’m so thrilled to have discovered this restaurant! The food and service are outstanding, and the atmosphere is really great. Truly, the maize bread is the best I’ve ever had. The shrimp and grits were also excellent, as were the roasted green tomatoes. The lunch prices are reasonable, although dinner prices are a bit higher. However, I definitely recommend trying it for dinner as well. Highly recommended!

This is a five-star restaurant with exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, the staff was both personable and professional. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and shrimp and grits. The fried green tomatoes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I’ve never had geese that tasted better than theirs. I felt completely full, but my mouth was still watering for more. The manager even stopped by to check on us and expressed her gratitude for our visit. If you ever find yourself in Hollywood, be sure to add this place to your dining list!

I find this place by chance, and I'm so happy that I did. The service was excellent and the food was heaven. I ordered the Oxtail Benedict and Maisbrot. It was delicious. I definitely go back. Look at her, please. You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding!!! Great brunch menu items that aren't common but delicious!!! Piña Colada mimosas were amazing!!! Great conversation with owner Natasha, wish them the best! Definitely returning for dinner!
