I come in to place my order, and the cashier is not there after I pay my order the cashiers left without me, I paid with a gift card and my own card, and I had to wait until 5 minutes on the register until another employee comes and asks what's going on. After I handed over my order, I told the employee that I still lacked the drinks, as she had closed the order on the screen, she replied yes and started working on another order that felt ignored, she had an order and I asked her again for my drinks she said yes and started working on another order, at that time I asked about the manager, she just came right now, but she didn't even want to hear what I wanted
I usually do not write reviews, but this is by far the worst experience I had, If I could give this review, I would. This is the WORST Pollo Tropical that I can look forward to. I have an order online for picking up at the Pollo Tropical location at 311 S. State Road 7 Hollywood, Fl 33023. When I arrived at Dine-in, was closed and I saw a young lady leaving, so I told her I had an online order ready for picking up. She asked me my name and said she would check for my order. After waiting, she came back and told me that there was no order under this name and I probably ordered over the closing time so that I showed her my phone with the status of my order as ready for pickup and she said she would check again. I waited for about 7 minutes and wondered why it takes so long. When I looked at the side, I saw the same young lady walking through the back door and driving towards a car to go. Immediately I started knocking on the tropical door to get someone attention. there were about four ladies in the kitchen and they saw me knock and nobody would answer. I saw going through the drive, but the line was so long, so I went around the other door and started knocking again and finally a young man who was cleaned saw me and opened the door. I told him I had an online order ready for pickup and I waited outside for someone to give me my order. He got the manager and I explained the whole situation about the young lady I spoke to. I finished my order after 20 minutes of my order for pickup and it was very cold. I will not return to this pollen tropical, because the staff are rude and dismissed and the customer service is TERRIBLE. You need to get your employees on how to deal with customers.
I ordered with the app and was there to pick up at 2:20am I did check-in and waited and I called the phone number in the app and it was a corporate office was told that they were called to check what the order status was and could not even get through it. I went in and took my order very cold after 35 minutes. I'll never order the curb again. Avoid this Pollo Tropical. If you offer a service, you should be able to provide it.
I like Pollo Tropical, I have two to three times a week lunch. For the first time, I decided to try out their Shrimp Devicne Bowl, which I saw on the board when I went to the car. I was very disappointed with what I got. What was advertised on the bowl looked very appetizing and what attracted me to order it. What I got was nothing about what was advertised. I was very disappointed and felt betrayed.
I think that I have feathers growing from my back!! I love Pollo Tropical! Theirs is the only chicken that I can eat and not worry about my blood pressure. The chicken is tasteful and never salty. I, also, love that I can get brown rice instead of white rice. The food is served hot every time. I went through the drive thru. Pollo Tropical is usually busy so I'm not surprised when the line is long. They will at least send someone out to take orders. So that when you get to the window all you need to do is pay for and pick up your food. The worker taking the order is generally friendly, patient, and professional. I will continue to visit at least once a month, sometimes more.
