The Sea Shack - Hilton Head Island

For lunch, had fried garnel, Slav, hush welpen and sweet potato maisbrot. all very good, clean and very friendly. the sweet potato bread is gas! I have never heard of this til here, but it is really great!!! highly recommended.

Extremely popular small, casual place shack is a great description. only 12 tables inside some outside seats, first come, first serve. the personal there is awesome. from the kitchen to foh, its amazing, how much food they can serve in such a small place. they stand out when their turn, order their eating at the counter then take their assigned seat or wait for them to order. Actually, eating was just okay. imo, it's not worth waiting for an hour for a weekday.

Visited sea shack a few times a family tradition while we visit hilton head island. we were so disappointed. the service was rushed and rude. we've got the two choices. small portions, fish so salty, thin and hard. we will not be back soon. worse eating the week.

We went first at dinner time and you have to be prepared to wait in line for a while. Although they have seating, most people seem to do take out. We didn't wait in line but came back for lunch. Food was decent and reasonably priced. My kids are not fans of sea food so they passed on eating another round of chicken tenders.

Hidden gem! We love coming for their delicious seafood. Snapper, shrimp, scallops, crab cakes are all delicious. They have delicious blackened dishes. I ask for lightly blackened and it is still plenty. Slaw and tea are also great. Get there early or plan on waiting in line. Staff are all friendly .
