The gluten-free people enjoyed a miso soup and the chef used gluten-free soy sauce and cooked their food first. The Yum Yum sauce and the ginger salad dressing were also gluten-free. The only part of the experience they weren’t able to enjoy was the ginger dipping sauce. The group got filet mignon, shrimp, steak, chicken, and calamari and all enjoyed their proteins. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options for the Hibachi dinner and the chef and wait staff were knowledgeable on substitutions and what ingredients had gluten in them.
Food was alright. Chef cooked 1 thing at a time so everyone's food was cold by the time the meal was completed on plates.
Food from hibachi is nothing special. Would not go back
Food is absolutely amazing. They will customize and prepare your meal exactly the way u like. Great value Danny our server was terrific. Can't wait to return.
We have been going back to Okko for 7 years and this will be our last. The service was fantastic, above and beyond for my sons birthday even went to Paris baguette for cake) BUT the food was American Japanese food. The fried rice was literally white rice with a ton of soy sauce and 4 eggs chopped up. No matter what hibachi you choose they put the same sauce on everything so everything tastes the same chicken/ beef or scallops)! We also ordered two specialty sushi rolls that were totally flavorless. How is the Angry Bird roll and a Godzilla roll tasteless? Service is superb but the food leaves a lot to be desired. :
