Yum Yum Plate - Hilo

Was in the area and decided to check it out. Small little hole in the wall with ono food!!! Ordered the Kalbi-Meat Jun combination plate with all vegetables. Buggah was ono!!! Will be coming back soon with wife. She loves Korean food. I have a feeling Yum Yum Plate will be our go to place for Korean. Aloha

I had this threw express waiters (food delivery company) and the portion are big in a good way! Everything taste great I had the 2 combo of chicken katsu and meat jun and they give you 4 sides. They use the big take out boxes and put all the sides in the cups. It really was great and definitely going back. I heard they closed I think they are the ones that were in the mall. But opened a take out due to covid. I have to say one of my favorite!!!!

Yum Yum plate are the same owners as Kalbi Express and Yum Yum Korean BBQ from Waimea. Unfortunately due to COVID, Yum Yum relocated to a smaller location on Laukapu St. in Hilo. They are currently just doing takeout and open from 10am-2pm.Their food selection and quality is some of the best that I've had in Hilo. I recommend their Meat Jun and BBQ chicken but everything on their menu is really tasty. I've been going to their restaurant since I was a child and I haven't stopped since.If you are looking for some amazing Korean food, please go and check them out. Restaurant businesses are struggling now due to this pandemic. I would hate to see some of our favorite restaurants that we grew up with go out of business. So please go out, grab some food, and support local business!
