The Al pastor had pineapple (proper) in it and decent flavor but doesn’t feel like it was marinated well enough. The rice had a good texture but bland flavor, the beans were okay. The sauces weren’t great, doesn’t feel like they had spice and weren’t super bright.Overall the tacos are solid, there are certainly worse out there and these are good if you’re craving it and close by.
I love this place, the fact they’re nearby and close at 11pm is great for a late meal. I typically get their tripas and love that they make it crispy. Then carnitas, asada, and lengua. All tender. I’ve also recently been getting their bacon cheese burger and it’s cheap for a burger and great tasting with that char flavor. They were typically outside of JR furniture, but since they’ve closed, Mister Taco moved a few meters down TV highway in an old gravel lot for now. They got candy, snacks, horchata, a ton of sauces you pack yourself. No frills, delicious, straight to the point and pretty quick from when you order. .50 cent charge with card. Also there’s no digital tips, so be kind and bring some cash if you’d like to show love with tips.
This place is amazing, great food at a great price! I love the carnitas burrito but you can’t go wrong with any of their meats! They also have a chipotle cream like sauce that is amazing! A must try for Mexican food aficionados!
The shredded beef street tacos were very tasty. Since this a food truck, the atmosphere is an open lot. Also, the truck has relocated just a little further west on TV highway. Probably because the furniture store they had been by is now permanently closed.Parking: This is a currently unused Christmas Tree lot.
Place was super good. I love the atmosphere when you pull into the lot and see that well lit taco truck with a seating area and lots of people excited for their orders. They have a huge section under the ordering window where you can get snacks, candy and drinks, very cool and not something you see often anymore. Also a refrigerated section to the left with sauces and more. The Carne asada tacos were great along with the pastor torta. Would come back for sure and I like that they are open late because I get off very late from class over here.
