I had gotten the tacos plate which were about $12. It had great presentation and portions. The asada was good quality but it lacked flavor and was dry. The beans also had no taste. I was excited for the green salsa but had no spice and lack of flavor again...the reviews are promising so maybe I came on a bad day? I unfortunately would not go back.
We had quesabirria along with asada and al pastor tacos. All were good but the birria tacos stood out the most. They were delicious along with the consome that came with it. Perfect for the cold and wet Oregon weather. Location wise, it is in downtown Hillsboro, so it is a great place to visit for lunch if you work in the area.
Made me vegetarian tacos. Didn't scrimp on anything. Very tasty and great price point.
Mama Lily's Kitchen has moved into Carts on Main in downtown Hillsboro. I'm excited to try some of their other food, but I started out on the right foot with the quesabirria plate. It came with three delicious beef and cheese tacos and a nice tall cup of broth to dip into. I've also had their California burrito with carne asada. It was enough for two meals for me and I really like their potatoes they tasted and looked handmade, you know like you'd get a brunch home style fries, rather than the frozen French fries kind. It made for a great burrito. While I was worried about there being a Mexican cart right next Amelia's, I think they have enough variety between them that you go to them for different cravings. I hope Mama Lily's is here to stay!
Food is always fresh, the location is clean has a great area food seating I cannot complain.
