I was so impressed to find out that they all make their vegan food from ground on, including: vegan chorizo, nduja sausage, chicks, vegan bark and burger, vegan cheese, vegan cream and even a vegan blue cheese dip! I ordered: vegan mad **** wings $8 (with spicy crazy **** sauce and blue cheese dip) these are austern mushrooms and have a great texture! the crumb was also light and crispy, without being too oily, and the sauces were a great accompaniment. wild mushroom gnocchi $32 this is a bit higher than the other elements on the vegan menu due to the ingredients used, but it is totally worth it! the gnocchi was perfectly boiled and coated in a bright creamy white wine sauce, with delicious mushrooms, sage, parmesan, hazelnuts and a white truffle oil. vegan diavola pizza $23 napolitana sauce, vegan chorizo, fresh chili, basilikum, evoo, rakete this was really hot (which I loved had a decent amount of vegan cheese and a delicious wood-fired basis. vegan veeseburger chips 25) veefpatty, secretive I was impressed by her homemade TVP-Patty, it was really delicious and had a great texture. also loved her special secret sauce. they also have an extensive vegan drink list on the back of the vegan menu that includes a lot of vegan weeping, champagne, beer and cocktails! I really felt as if they had put a lot of thought and care into the development of this vegan menu, as each of the meal I tried was well balanced and full of taste. they have gone significantly to a lot of difficulties in developing their own vegan products, and for that they should be praised and supported.
I loved Jarrah’s atmosphere. This is a new favourite! So many options to try I had the cauliflower wings and gnocchi. Delicious! Yes can’t wait to go back. They have a full separate vegan menu. This is a great place to meet up with friends and make sure that you’ll have a proper menu to choose from.
Finally there is a nice vegan restaurant in this area. It was very overdue and I’m just so happy that Jarrah were the ones to recognise the need. Definitely check it out you won’t regret it
I’ve always loved Jarrah as a venue for a drink or two, but now with the addition of an extensive, and well thought out vegan menu, I’m more of a regular than I was before. Everything I tried was cooked perfectly, flavours were great and service was prompt. FYI: on Fri/Sat nights it does get busy, so if you want a good table, get in early!!
Has a lot of vegan options that is fantastic. Food was very fat tho and I'm not a big fan of it. Pizza tasted good.
