The food was excellent and very unique. They seated us under the estimated time for our wait. Our waiter made suggestions on what to order and they were all fantastic. Already want to go back!

Few gluten free options have been reduced with menu update, bland food as always (what do you expect in Highland though). Staff surprisingly rude about acomodating dietary restrictions. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with an allergy of any kind.Updated to one star after dismissive restaurant response. Indicating items that could be made GF or printing a separate menu would take at most 3 hours of labor and provide much more accessibility. Even your fish and steak are not indicated as GF options. This is unusual even for the restaurants in this area. Considering taking feedback and not dismissing it.

It used to be better but they do have a great menu, the space has a nice ambiance, and the servers and staff are delightful

I had the maryland crab suppe, and the jambalaya, I enjoyed both they were delicious.

If you do not want to wait for a table, you need to go early or expect 30-60 minutes to wait. The service and the food were both equally great. The presentation of food is very professional. The atmosphere is modern and elevated. The name may be missed, to me Sparkies seems like a down hole in the wall, but don't miss this hidden gem. It is also removed in a stripe-mall, so do not pass without a stop inside.
