High Wycombe Tavern

I found this restaurant very disappointing and would never visit it again. The majority of the food was cold and one dish was like straight salt. The service was extremely slow and some of the staff were quite rude. My steak sandwich was like like a piece of frozen cardboard. I found the atmosphere terrible because of the jobos a few metres away drinking the cheap beer. The only good thing is cheap tiger beer so expect plenty of jobos drinking. Sorry I can't say anything good about this place. I hope others have better experiences. There are other close by restaurant which were extremely more pleasurable and a calmer and overall better atmosphere.

Great large selection of meals. Big portions. Free kids packs for youngsters to keep them amused and free kids icecream with ever kids meal ordered. Also real deserts for finals. Enjoy

A family gathering of 15 people, including 5 children and a 92yr old.Staff were brisk and not one Aussie in sight bar or waitressing.Chilli squid was still wriggling and very partially cooked. Informed staff. Left with raw squid. Gravy bowl with chicken filo was stone cold. Waited 15mins for a new heated bowl. Chicken eaten workout gravy...... could only buy a jug of lime lemon and bitters from the bar. Dining area next to bar but get your own LL & Bs. Not available in dining area!!!! For goodness sake. Who made a stupid rule??? You won't see us again.

Top quality food. Very quick service with a smile. Extremely efficient and experienced... food was awesome quality and FAST!.. we had a table of 6 and everything was cooked to perfection. Literally everything on everyone's plate was carefully cooked and prepped great ! BLOWN AWAY ! WELL DONE !

Great specials to be had at 15 dollars including a beer, very nice meals big servings but some staff have a bad attitude when serving the meals maybe it was just a off day.
