Lulu Blu - High Point

We had a nice evening here and patterned crab cake, filled mushrooms, scallops pastrami sliders. they looked like art on the teller! that was all.

4 1/2 stars. cute little Italian place with a modern and creative menu. If you think about lulu and blu, you don't think, checkered tablecloth and spaghetti ..

One of the better sound in high point, lulu produces good Italian-inspired comfort food...with own recipes and take classic dishes. the ambiente.

A boisterous place where everyone is welcome and customers are remembered. Alot of regulars come to laugh and drink. Our food was fantastic. Pork belly was tender. Bolognese was hearty. Only con is the service. It was busy and they may have been short staffed this night. Servers would linger longer than usual to chat with customers and talk about their kids' soccer team or whatnot.

The food quality could be better. The ambience doesnt connect. The appeal is like a diner but the menu is too busy. They should simplify the menu and possibly specialize in family breakfast to gain a bigger base. Service was ok. Nothing bad to say but nothing great to say either. Simplify Simplify Simplify. Focus on having an identity and the reviews will be better for sure.
