Tandoori chicken was okayish , would have preferred it skin less and thoroughly cooked. Biriyani was decent. Chilli paneer was not so good. Loved the masala soda
One of the best restaurant in NY if you like Indian Chinese dishes. Drums of heaven (Appetizer) and chilli chicken are my favorite. Also they have great cocktails as well.
If you like flavorful, ethnic Indian food, Lotus Asian fusion restaurant in Hicksville is the spot. Try their eggplant entree with coconut tomato sauce gravy. This dish is delicious, unique find. Pairs so well with Tandoori roti.Perfectly spiced, Sunday night Indian dinner for the family. My husband and I went there a couple of weeks ago but the food and service were sooo good that even after weeks, im still thinking abt it and thought I’d I write a quick review :)We were served by Sachin. Sachin was immensely helpful! I have certain allergies and he went back to the kitchen a couple of time to make sure the ingredients I’m allergic are not part of my entrée. He also made helpful suggestions and was very tentative. The good did not fail either! We got chicken tikka masala as one of our entrees and surprisingly it was finger licking good! The drinks were spot on and delicious! They did NOT sting out on the alcohol lol. Totally recommend this place!!
Post Covid most restaurants have lost staff, chefs or their taste. Thankfully Lotus is not one of them. Service can be slow due to staffing issues but food is very authentic Punjabi/North Indian. I picked up an order that turned out to be super spicy. Spoke to the owner and he replaced the entire order with less spice. Thank you.
