The Angel At Hetton

So great that the Angel is back to its best. The ambience and service was great and the food sublime.

Top quality Sunday Roast (we had beef lamb) with top quality food for all three courses. Service was excellent too friendly and professional. We’ll definitely be back

The food and the staff were excellent, could not be faulted, but the restaurant lacks some warmth since the refurbishment. Could do with some pictures on the walls and some cosier seating in the bar, but would go back regardless. Thank you.

Food was good however the beef that was advised as being served medium rare was more like well done. Other tables from observation had theirs served medium rare so something went wrong with our order. Unfortunately we were not asked during our meal if everything was ok, nor were we asked when the plates were taken away which was odd especially as this has a Michelin star. Overall the food was tasty.

Sublime cooking. Accommodating to children. Modern and stylish interior without being too ‘cold’. Can’t fault it (and we’ve been to many fine dining Michelin places)
