Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Hershey

The smoothie was great, but the staff could use more training in customer service.

Today, I ordered an $8 smoothie online. When I arrived, the restaurant was packed with people waiting for their food. It was exactly as I described—chaotic and poorly managed. With no time to spare to wait 30 minutes for a smoothie that should have taken 20 minutes, I decided to leave. I attempted to get a refund or a voucher, but the employees were unclear and the process took longer than it should have. I wouldn’t recommend this location as long as they keep their current staff; I've experienced the same frustrating issues several times over the past few months. It’s disappointing to have given them an opportunity to serve me, only to feel like I wasted my $8.

I was taken aback by the negative reviews, as I visited just two days ago and had a fantastic experience. It seems like you may have hired new staff, because everyone was exceptionally friendly and even tidied up as we arrived. The food was delicious and prepared quickly, and the entire restaurant was clean and beautifully maintained. I would absolutely return!

Workers are racist. I asked for a drink carrier because my door bag has two drinks and a gentleman saw me in the face and ignored me. The second worker came out and I asked him for one. While he gave me the carrier, there were no words from him when I told him that his employee ignored me. I even thanked him for stopping what he did to me to give me a drink carrier, and he didn't tell me. Something similar happens every time I pick up an order here. 0/10 do not recommend ANYONE

This is the 4th time I 've attempted to give them chances about their food quality. Usually, it 's everytime I order something with smashed avocado there is nothing at all resembling avocado in the wrap. This very last time I 'll ever eat here, my quesadilla had barely any melted cheese, it was all cold, which BTW looked like Kraft fake cheese sprinkles, and literally barely any food in the quesadilla at all. The photo reflects what both ends of the quesadilla looked like. The Harrisburg location used to be one of my favorites. I was so excited to finally have a closer Hershey location but they are absolutely not worth it.
