I recently discovered this pub and it was a fantastic find! From the moment you walk in, you are always greeted warmly. The restaurant areas are lovely, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The food is amazing and Chef Steve is incredibly accommodating; he’s a culinary wizard! The pub is located in a beautiful rural setting and the outdoor spaces and gardens are also great. If you're in search of a friendly country pub with delicious food, this is the place for you!

A group of eight of us went for a celebratory meal. From the moment we walked through the door to the end of the night everything was exemplary. The warm welcome from the landlord Richard, excellent local ales from Wye Valley was followed by a truly excellent meal. A variety of main courses were served, including perfectly cooked Sirloin steaks, a Lamb Shank to die for a superb Vegetarian Curry, all prepared wonderfully by Steve the very experienced chef. Desserts including Sticky Toffee Cake, Blueberry Roulade and Profiteroles followed and again everyone was absolutely delighted with their offerings. Was recommended this pubs by our air bnb host. I don’t usually leave reviews but oh my world… what a recommendation! My boyfriend had the steak with all the trimmings it came with so much food and every but was delicious. I order the seafood pad Thai good sized portion, delicious, fresh such a generous helping of seafood… The young man behind the bar was lovely really nude and friendly we paid £57 for 2 meals a coke 4 pints (I thought this was good value for money considering the food was as good as it was)? The place was also spotlessly clean… The best part was my dog was able to join us and she was so good. Even though we are from so far away we will Deffo be back amazing food, service stunning pubs.

We had a 2 night stay with Jamie and the team, they were very welcoming and accommodating for us. Breakfast was excellent and Saturday afternoon we had dinner with friends (table of 6 . It was one of the best meals out we have all had together in a long time! Value for money, tasty and all home cooked. I would highly recommend a visit :
