The Sushi - Henderson

The food is good. Having said that yesterday I placed an order on the phone: two sushi plates with three different rolls. Not more than 3 minutes after hanging up I got a call back from them telling me my order was ready to be picked up. There 's no way in the world that they could have prepared my order in that amount of time. They must have had items already prepared. This is unacceptable. Orders should always be prepared fresh. To make matters worse when I got there I asked the girl to please check everything for order accuracy because in the past they have gotten things wrong. She looked at me with a straight face and told me I could check it myself in my car. Really?!? She was extremely rude. I shot back at her, no, you will check it right here right now . On top of all this the salads were practically non-existant and the pieces of sushi along with the roll pieces were extremely small with little to no rice around the fish. The pieces of sushi were also noticeably smaller than in the past. To me this is an obvious attempt to give less food for ever increasing prices. The Sushi has been in decline and this is a sad symptom of bad business. They will never get my money ever again.

Hate to give it a less than stellar review... But, apparently had a new server that was less then attentive. The drinks came fairly quickly, but then she disappeared for 20-30 minutes (even though I flagged her down with eye contact twice). Asked for silverware three times and water twice. The sushi was good as usual, however the teriyaki chicken was dry. The edamame appetizer came when we were almost finished with the meal.

Great food! Got the dinner special and some Unagi Nigiri. Prices are a little steep for A few prices of sushi. Service is not great.... The 2 times we came, it was near empty with only 3 people. The service forgot our order, placed it on the check but never brought it. We did have it removed but still why would 1 roll take that long? They basically take your order once and only come back to remove empty plates..so don 't expect to be able to order more. The ambiance is pretty standard nothing wow but nothing awful.Good luck.

I was very impressed with The Sushi. I had the basic California roll. It was so fresh and delicious. I ordered the lunch special with the Chicken Teriyaki. Very tasty as well. The atmosphere is nice with televisions above around a sushi bar. The service was great as my waitress was very accommodating. The restaurant was very clean and I will be coming back soon.
