Babe's Old Fashioned Food - Helotes

Friendly staff, cleanliness of the restaurant was good. The food was fresh. I recommend trying this place. The burgers are great, chicken burgers was good (hand baked) frits are ok, onion rings amazing, chicken strips (big bites) were great. Just what you obviously don't go to a burger place for pizza, huh? My only negative thing to say pizza was not good I give the pizza 2/10 but again you don?t go to a burger place for pizza so not let that you stop trying their burgers.

My wife and I had chased a burger and slipped right before closing. A HUGE thanks you to the counter staff and chefs to show us the courtesy that is not often seen in other companies. We were greeted with a smile and were served on a large tasting mushroom Swiss burgers with sweet potatories. Will definitely go back and will highly recommend this location. Thank you.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would definitely. This place will feed you with high prices on food, which should even be fed pigs. $10 for just a sandwich that doesn't have a drink or pommes. Chicken sandwich tasted like it had old meat and was extremely hard to swallow because as overcooked it was. The cook wore no gloves and I saw how she touched the cashier and then went back to the handling of the food. Overall, I wouldn't come back here again and this little business recognized me that not all businesses should stay in business.

Only profit It's a 2 because the lady at the switch was beautiful. The food was terrible! Salt was everywhere the tomato pane was bigger than the patty that was flattened and carburized to a gun! Salad was wet And so was the burger, Bun was flat and they gave me a lot of fries My friend refused to eat it because of the amount of salt on the food! Save your money and just go to Whataburger

I?m honestly surprised this place is rated so high. If you?re starving then it will do but if you have a taste pallet save your money. Got the BBQ chicken (thought it would be like an actual BBQ chicken sandwich. It was a fried chicken piece with BBQ on it) and husband got the burger, very little flavor. You are better off going to whataburger.
