Coconut House - Heatherton

I would love to give them 5 stars but unfortunately food quality has gone down. Their signature clay pot tofu is nowhere good as it used to be, it isn’t even sizzling anymore. Just tastes mediocre and lacks flavour that it used to have. Kam heong chicken was ok, but was a tad bit salty and could use more chilli. Looks like they may have lost their most talented chef hopefully they will improve in the future

Yesterday we had been to the restaurant with our 10month old baby and 8yr old child. The lady staff with short hair was so rude, right at the entrance my older child was looking at the log book, this staff came and picked on her as if she is going to ruin the book and after sitting at the table, baby was playing with the spoon, she came up and said I will give you another spoon cos if you drop it I cannot come and pick it up cos I'm very busy and again when she came to take the order she told can you reduce the volume to the 10th month old baby. How ridiculous she could be. You need to understand its a baby, and at the end she saw baby had dropped some left over food on the floor, this lady was complaining to another lady staff about the mess. Very unfriendly staff. Never going back.

Spacious restaurant with lots of seating. The food was not oily or too salty. We ordered the coconut butter chicken which was tasty with the bits of crispy coconut and curry leaves. The nyonya chicken was delicious and had a unique flavour. The service was great and prompt. One of the staff, Karen was patient to recommend us some dishes and to take our order. We even got free port after our meal. I enjoyed the sweet taste of the port to wash down the savoury meal. Price was reasonable for an enjoyable meal. Would seriously return in future despite the 45min drive.

Asian authenticity at its best. Located on the busy hwy of Warrigal Rd, this resto offers the best of Malay, Chinese and Thai traditional dishes. Order from their a la cart or set banquet, what ever you decide your taste buds will not be disappointed.
