The Pantry - Havering

I frequently visit this cozy café and sandwich shop for a delicious coffee, cake, or sandwich. The quality is always excellent, and recently I ordered a 10-inch fruit birthday cake for my wife, which was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The service is always top-notch. I prefer supporting local businesses over the chain coffee shops that seem to be everywhere nowadays.

I work near The Pantry so I often pick up my lunch there. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is friendly and talkative, and there is a large variety of food and drinks available every day. I have also used them for a family buffet and the food was presented beautifully and tasted great. I highly recommend The Pantry.

I was disappointed to find that the bacon in the sandwich was microwaved instead of freshly cooked, especially since the restaurant was so quiet on a Saturday morning. I have a strong aversion to microwaved food, so this greatly affected my opinion of the restaurant. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and the place was clean.

We pop in here every now and then. Usually if we've been to the bank, just up from the bakers. Nice pastry sausage rolls and the bread is also nice.

Came here for brunch, but service was soo slow. Seems to be run by Dad and daughter , but not organised. Everything seems to be higgledy piggedy. Normal sorts of prices and items on menu but nothing prepped or ready Seemed a bit of a time warp going on? Don't like going to the international coffee shops out of preference, like a bit of colour and difference. But been back to Gidea Park 3 times and haven't been back here
