La Gondola Italian Restaurant

A local spot with a flavourful menu. Great staff make suggestions and recommendations that are always well received. Drink and menu specials are a great plus.

This new sportsbar on the river's edge is much needed in the area. The dining room at lunchtime was clean and inviting. The lunch wing special with a pint was excellent. My wife had the veggie and chicken thin crust pizza. Also very good. Lot's of draft beer and cider on offer, and a nice little wine list. There's a nice little outdoor patio that was very popular at lunchtime. We will certainly make this restaurant one of our "locals".

Don't pass this place by. Food was excellent. Pulled bbq chicken sandwich was wonderful , generous portion.. The beet salad was a change from the standard fare. I liked it. The other diner had half rack of ribs which were beautifully well done and the tangy sauce was so good there was nothing. To take home in a doggie bag. Service was exemplary the evening we visited. Our server, Summer was observant and quickly came to our table to ensure we had drinks. She was outstanding. All in all a very high recommendation.

Always great food. Super pleasant staff. Bit of a wait but always worth it. Very clean premises. Will continue to come and brings friends for lunchbox dinner

Dropped by with friends for a wee drink, following an excursion work project. Specials on Sundays were 3 Caesars. Had one with restaurant's in-house special BBQ sauce ... it was so very tasty (may have to make it my $6 Sunday afternoon habit).Lots of pub-style foods - chicken, pork, beef, nachos ... and, there's a pizza on the menu with all kinds of meat - pulled pork, beef, chicken, etc. Cannot wait to experience that one.Place is clean and bright and airy. Bathrooms in great shape. Staff attentive and courteous. Live music on Friday nights.Kind of cute signage when you enter "find a clean table" - love it!!
