The Hartwick

Over the past eight years I have passed this little restaurant on my way to and from visiting family 45 minutes north of here, but I never stopped. Couldn't get a seat in another place north for breakfast so I started home and this was the first place we came upon. This time we stopped. Nice little place. The gentleman working seemed to owner, cook, waiter, busser, cashier, dishwasher, you name it he was a one-man band. We had breakfast and while it took a little longer than most places, my omelet was outrageously good. The owner was friendly and by the looks of the other reviews and some of the pictures they posted I am looking forward to going back for lunch or dinner on my next trip to the area. Remember this is not the place if you are in a hurry but if you want it done right and good....stop on in. I recommend it!

Silvio is a rockstar!! He does it all the food is outstanding we are here breakfast, lunch, dinner you CAN NOT go wrong at the Hartwick Restaurant. The cheese omelet and home fries were better than anywhere, Whole wheat toast was thick. Pancakes perfect. Huge portions Kid friendliness: Silvio was adorable and sweet to my son. Everything SO good, my son loved the egg sandwiches Chocolate milk and cocoa everything great!! Kids are welcome here!!

Me and my family go here all the time!! It's definitely one of my favorites and the owner is so nice!! It makes me so sad to see that this place isn't nearly as popular as it should be. The grilled cheese is definitely my favorite It's super crunchy and doesn't go soggy like I've noticed happens at other restaurants!! Keep up the great work and I wish nothing but the best for you and your business!! Service: Take out
