Gelato Jojo - Hartlepool

This restaurant is a great spot with friendly and attentive staff. The food is excellent.

Been here a few times now, when the lady's from Asia are working the service is out of this world and so is the food/ice creams. Unfortunately the other staff aren't as attentive and barely smile. I'll also say the owner is lovely if your lucky enough to come across her. The male staff member with tattoos specifically struggles to smile and give a warm welcome. New female staff again fell behind the standard of service that the Asian ladies offer. Maybe make the Asian ladies managers or trainers they're fantastic they really are a credit to the place.

Nasty.. service was poor.. went home and literally spewed my guts up.. might be amazing for others but never again for me

Waited 15 minutes to be seated then overheard someone say the kitchen was closed at 4pm on a Sat dessert only. It wasn't overly busy with a completely empty section at the rear. We got an apology on our way out to feed our kids at Larry's (which was friendly cheaper). Apparantly it was trainees on staff. Wouldn't have been a problem had we been informed in the queue or a shred of customer service been given which they do struggle with.

Lovely place and the staff were all really great my nephew likes to talk to people he's only 5 but they made him feel so welcome and it makes his day when people take the time to talk to him. Such a great group of people.
