Max Bibo's Usa - Hartford

Fresh sandwich. I ordered online and it was done right away. Convenient parking right in front, located right on the corner. My spicy Capicola sandwich was great!

The decor is very, very nice. The sandwich was light on the stuff for over ten dollars). They offer some pretty exotic cheeses and other foods and charge for it. The soup was so so and seven dollars). Did I mention the furniture was just so chic? The salad was mediocre and I don 't know how much). All I know is I spent $37 for two for lunch and was not wowed. Adding insult to injury is the fact that the personnel are all either very tired, or just naturally so bored with life in general they 'd rather yawn than serve you. The table we sat at was dirty so we opted for another. And another. And another. Had to beg for salt and pepper shakers 'cause of bland soup and salad). With so many other great operations serving in earnest, why?!! I guess 'cause it 's such a chic, hip place to go.

This is an excellent deli with great sandwiches: a good selection of cheeses, meats and fresh breads and all sorts of things that accompany them. They are friendly, fast but there's no questioning that a cheaper lunch could be found. Bibo's is pricy, but good quality. The sandwiches are packed with all the goodies you could want. If you're staying inside to dine, the atmosphere won't win any awards... but if you're in the mood for a quick lunch to go, this is the place.

Max Bibos good,but overpriced. I always kick myself when I end up going here instead of Cornerstone Deli, down the street. I do have to say I like their food here (sandwiches and salads are always satisfying), but I can get a huge sandwich and save half of it for dinner for less money at Cornerstone. The only thing that is actually worth the money at Max Bibos in my opinion are the salads- they are good for lunch/dinner and chock full of protein. Always awkward to have a personal conversation in this place too, the tables are so close together and you can hear what everyone is saying about their co-workers and boss during lunch hour- ha! Makes for some entertainment, at least.

Great sandwiches and soups. Classic and original soups are for very good to excellent. The Max Bibo is my favorite.m
