Mama's Pizza - Harrisburg

Super huge shout out to Mama's Pizza!! We had my 3yo birthday party scheduled for 4 at the harrisburg gymnastics club and as we stood outside in the 100 degree heat with a no show host. The team at Mama's pizza invited us and the kids in to have her party inside! This team deserves all the love from the community!! Thank you so much for making my Daughters 3rd Bday a good one!

I've been eating here for a little over a year since I work so close. A year ago, honestly everything was sub par. I don't know what happened but a few months ago they started changing everything and it's crazy good stuff now. Meatlovers pizza goes crazy, thin crust, crispy with a good chew but not doughy, great mozzarella sticks, with its own marinara, stromboli with its own type of marinara, and don't even get me started on the cannolis. They used to be these little things with Hershey sauce on them, terrible. Now, they're big, crunchy, the filling, you can taste the ricotta. It's not just like, cake icing, it's fantastic. Yeah, they picked it up like crazy this past year. As far as inside, I don't eat inside but it's very clean, and they're always good guys. And honestly I've made large orders, and i don't think I've had to wait more than 25 minutes if even. Usually it's only 20. Fantastic pizza place.

It’s good but it’s gonna give u diarrhea delivery takes

I got a large ham and cheese calzone with extra ricotta cheese and extra red sauce. May I say that it was absolutely delicious. Unbelievably good,we loved every bite.I also wanted to say that, the staff, I assume the owner, was very very nice. I asked for paper plates and plastic ware because my girlfriend and I were eating in my car during a 90 minute journey home. The gentleman got me plenty of paper plates, forks, knives, and napkins. He was very very nice about it and accommodating and then I tried to pay when I picked it up even though I had paid online and he reminded me that I didn’t need to pay twice. Haha.We got lucky because we just googled a pizza shop on Derry Street because it was a road we knew in Harrisburg and we were very very lucky to stumble upon Mama’s. When we’re going to and from Penn State games in the fall, we’ll be sure to stop in.Thanks again for their courteous staff and their great food. This is what an authentic Italian pizza shop should be like and we were blessed to experience it.

Fantastic, flavorful pizza.As a native of New York City I would put Mama's pizza up against some of the best New York style pizzas in NYC. And it's priced very well too.
