December went with a friend after a table was asked through the window a table was given in the middle of the room so that I had to ask again, then she never asked us what we wanted to drink back finally asked us what we wanted to drink never asked if we were willing to order the bread was brought to us she brought two people a bowl marinara Sauce I could see if it was a man and I finally got it when I went out with my meal. I ordered the chicken-Slovak plate I ordered since the opening. They didn't bring me five fries I ordered to the plate, not the lunch plate I charged $12,99 for the plate. I ordered all romaine salad on my salad I didn't have all romaine salad I got plain salad no black Greek olives at all, and they have always set four black olives on the salad I asked for them I got them when I was finished eating. One of the managers said that this should be or is, I am sure that the health rules put a bowl of marinara on the wall while everyone goes through them and you serve someone else who went after the people who need the Marinara when I said you know I should tell the health department. I was told about this manager when she laughed that it was going on, call him they like us. I also went to Gondolier's and had my two go to chicken-Slovak plate here about 2 weeks, the chicken had no spice on him nothing NADA it was Bland. Never been treated so badly in this restaurant has never been treated so badly, so badly in a restaurant has ever been treated. The only good waitress you have in this restaurant is Lulu she is the only reason why people come back. Fire that fat - ss unethical tattoo covers woman or you will lose more customers and the other so-called manager was just as bad she is the one that told me you call the health department they like us oh I will believe it.
Just letting you know this was the worse service I ever received from Gondoliers restaurant. 4152020 ordered dinner 5:40 and was told it would be ready in about 20 to 30 minutes. to call once my son got there to pick up. He got there at 5:50 and called and called multiple times to let them know he was there finally 6 o'clock they answered and said the order wasn't ready waiting on the bread. At 6:45 they came out with the order. No receipt or apologies was given on top of that the food was cold and the bread was hard as a rock and uneatable!!!!
My husband just picked up dinner from Gondoliers in Harriman and requested extra bread. On a previous visit, a manager had informed him that he could get extra bread at no cost for takeout, considering how much we usually eat when dining in—usually between 5 to 10 breadsticks with marinara! However, after speaking with two managers tonight, he was told that two small breadsticks would be sufficient and that he would have to pay for any additional ones. Frustrated, he decided to refuse the bread altogether. With that kind of service and attitude, we're not sure if we'll bother dining in anymore!
This restaurant is a popular spot for families. We all love the food, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic!
We dined here on Saturday evening and Monday afternoon, and both times we ordered the breadsticks. Despite the restaurant only being moderately busy, with an average of around 7 tables occupied, the servers seated patrons very closely together. I don't recommend returning to this place, and I certainly won’t be back.
