Zum Edelweiss - Harker Heights

When we placed order, waitress told us they were out of sweet tea (apparently they can't make more) and fried mushrooms. Okay, whatever... Then they brought our order without one side for 3 people and 2 sides for one person. 20 minutes later we finally got the sides which were cucumber salad and potato salad..

My fiancé and I had an excellent time, the staff we was delightful, fun, and welcoming! The customer service was outstanding! The food was delicious and authentic! Honestly, this is the first time in the US that I have had authentic German food! I will recommend this restaurant to my friends, family , and everyone!

Most of the menu items center around schnitzel, a breaded pork loin reminiscent of chicken-fried steak, and it is very good. My wife got the cordon bleu, and it was also extremely good. The atmosphere was nice with trinkets, baubles, painted dishes, and medals (awards, commendations, commemorative, etc) covering the walls. While waiting for our food, we had a good time looking at the German antiques. The owner was a really nice lady who we had a nice chat with. I highly recommend checking it out.

Amazing food!! Friendly and happy staff! We always get great service and great food. They have amazing Jager schnitzel, Cucumber salad, red cabbage, home fries, and spatzel. the cakes are all freshmade and yummy. You can get bottles of hefeweizen to take home.i never get pictures of my food because I am so excited to eat it I forget.

Nice authentic German food. Spätzle and gravy was good, the home fries were tasty and the schnitzel was great. They have multiple types of hefeweizen and kristelweizen biers. They cook fresh cake each day; black forest, hazle nut and mandarin orange cake. I'd recommend this place :
