The food was decent, but be sure to add your own salt and pepper as none is provided! We tried the omelette with home fries and found it tasty and satisfying with added seasoning. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we also ordered the French toast, which needed extra syrup as it wasn't very sweet on its own. The restaurant offers a nice view of the beach, but seating and space are limited.
The locals created a warm and inviting atmosphere at this restaurant. We decided to dine at Barefoot mainly because of its stunning views of the bay. The fish and chips were just okay, nothing outstanding. Prices were on the higher side, as expected in Hana. The service was a bit slow, but the staff were friendly and had a positive attitude.
I give this restaurant five stars for their breakfast sandwich alone, highly recommend trying it.
Nice location there on Hana Bay. Had the fried rice and eggs, it was tasty. Expensive yes, but it's Maui. Maybe a little grungy, but it's the beach. We showed up at 800am day after Thanksgiving for breakfast, no lines.
There cheese burger was just what I needed after our long drive from Lahaina to Hana! Fresh made and juicy!
