Sunset Grill - Hamilton

The food taste ok but you don't get ur eggs the way you want them and the home fries are over cooked. I can't say I'll go back cuz been there a few times to see if it was just a bad day for them and it was the same and I've asked family and friends asked about the place and they say the same.

We got there early on Sunday so as not to worry about a crowd. Lots of empty tables still when we ordered. Five cups of coffee later and we still did not have out order. Asked twice and we were told it would be checked but instead brought coffee. So after a half hour we said either we got our order instead of another coffee we were just going to leave. When the waitress came back her explanation was our order got messed up and this is why everyone else had their food and we were still waiting, We were promised our food in no time. Finally got breakfast or should I say brunch now. Hubby's eggs and bacon was a good serving. My Great Canadian was hot and good, We were offered free jam for our toast as a sorry. When we went to pay for the bill the coffee had been taken off as well.Special thanks to Jenny the waitress for taking the bull by the horns and checking on our order when others did not return after we asked, And Jenny made the extra effort to make sure we felt better after the mess up.

This restaurant is pretty typical of a chain restaurant. The staff is friendly, the meals is served and prepared in a reasonable time and you get what you expect. The eggs (omelet) were good and the hash browns were fine (maybe a bit overdone - but nothing serious). A good place for a quick breakfast or brunch. We had a Sunset Restaurant gift card - nobody in the restaurant could figure out how to work it - so be prepared to pay for the meal if you have a gift card. It is in a mall so lots of available parking.

Great place for breakfast - a little pricey but good food. Lots of parking. Staff was really good checking often to see if you needed anything. Varied menu. I would go back for sure.

Was there for breakfast with a friend and really had the best service I have ever had at a breakfast place in the Hammer. Didn't once have to look for the girl for coffee, they were all checking if we needed anything or if everything was fine. The moons are aligned at Sunset Grill.
