Cowabunga - Hamilton

This place is absolutely amazing I do pizza reviews from the Toronto area and I decided to come to the Hamilton area to do some pizza reviews in Hamilton. Cowabunga pizza uses premium ingredients and make some absolutely amazing pizza nothing negative to say. Wish they realized that they have a fantastic product and the expand pizza's absolutely phenomenal.

Tried the GG (garlicky greens) last night. Toppings were very good and packed with so much flavour! However, for me the pizza is all in the dough and this is just simply not the vibe. The slices are paper thin, crunchy almost like a toasted pita. The pies are also cooked too long for my liking, border line burnt but I can see the appeal! Worth a shot but can't say I'll be back.

I ordered takeout and was pleasantly surprised by how authentic the pizza tasted—much better than many other pizza places. I called ahead and requested curbside service, and they were very accommodating. They did run a little behind on the pick-up time, but that didn’t matter since the food was delicious. I got two large Canadian pizzas, each with eight generous slices. A few people only managed to eat two slices each! The crust was thinner underneath but had a nice, substantial crust at the edges. Overall, a great experience!

I ordered the Cowabunga and Canadian pizzas for takeout, and they were absolutely delicious! The crust was definitely the highlight, and the house-made garlic sauce is strong (but fantastic)!

I absolutely love this pizza! I've had it several times before, and their "Cowabunga" pizza is my favorite in Hamilton. The service is quick and friendly, and the pizza is a solid 11/10! I ordered a medium size for $20 (before tax), and it was just as delicious as ever. I couldn't resist grabbing a few pieces of chicken off the pizza before taking the photo—it's that good!
