Przekaż informację zwrotnąDiSorbo 's Italian bakery is an Italian pastry that opens in Hamden, Connecticut in 1970. It was founded by husband and wife Luigi and Linda DiSorbo. They are specialized in classic Italian pastries, cakes and cakes. Some of the specialties on this 'Pasticceria' include Italian bread, filled bread, cannoli, sfogliatelle, bocconotti, cream puffs, éclairs, napolitano cannoli, zeppole, biscotti, anginetti, pignoli, panettone, Easter cake, hot cross beans, rumcakes, Napolitano cakes and cannoli cakes. Today, Luigi and Linda continue the business with their children Steve, Joe and Lena. The business (and its delicious Cannoli) were even seen in the hit TV show The Sopranos . In the season 6 episode The Ride , DiSorbo 's can be seen at the fictitious festival of St. Elzéar during a Cannoli eating competition. The name of the bakery is clearly visible on the stand and on the T-shirts of the participants. Yesterday, my family and I stopped at DiSorbo to get delicious pastries. We've never been there, so we decided to give them an attempt. Since the day of St. Joseph was a day away, we had to have some of the traditional St. Joseph 's Day pastries: Zeppole. We ordered three ricotta filled zeppoles, three cannoli and a chocolate lemon cake. All we bought was delicious! We are lucky to have some excellent Italian bakeries in the Greater New Haven and DiSorbo 's is no exception.
Always a good choice. Options are varied, and staff is authentic in their want to provide good service and good products.

They are a jewel of the Italian bakeries of yesterday, which unfortunately disappear. It is a trip for its delicious Italian pastries and has parking on site.
