So full, but faster service and delicious fish at an acceptable price. I have eaten (fish in the pan) that is fried fish with potato mustard sauce. my man ate flats with salat and french dressing. the two meals were good. we have also tried the (fish and chips) and the (püree, kartoffel puree) that are something special for this place.

The restaurant daniel wiper is certainly a part of the hamburger tradition. after decades in the spitaler road they had to move. now they are right on the left side of the Rathaus. who doesn't like fish shouldn't look over there, but whoever likes fish must visit this traditional restaurant. I had the fish soup this time - the big portion. this suppe is very well seasoned and simply packed with fish. you will love it!

We have eaten here with a group of friends during a holiday period for hamburg to evening, so the place was not too crowded. I had an excellent fish soup, but also typical “Matjes” preparations and other very German fish preparations were available and were appreciated by my friends. very nice staff and very reasonable prices

We came here for lunch after we arrived in hamburg, and this was a great introduction to the fantastic food offered in this city! my man had sea salmon with kartoffel salad and I had fishfrikadellen with pommes frites. the portions were very generous, the fish was perfectly prepared and tasted wonderfully fresh. it is a very busy restaurant, but the service was fast and our waiter spoke great English. I would definitely recommend it for lunch only that they do not accept cards, it is only cash.
