Sunrise Cafe - Hallstead

Very nice, very small and very friendly breakfast nook. About 7 tables, no bar sitting. More large tables as set than small with easy customization. I've been here twice in 6 months as I don't live close. First, there were 2 kids in a booth while mom worked. They were well behaved and even fun to watch. No kids this time... Staff is welcoming friendly and this is a perfect setting for a small town breakfast/ lunch place.

Really nice place. Hard working, wholesome. really enjoyed my breakfast. Simple, but done very well and owner clearly cares. Fun locals/regulars.

This is a tiny hole in the wall Cafe and some little town. The food was surprisingly good The prices were okay but the restaurant staff was super friendly. Kind of felt like I was in Mayberry.

Our breakfast took over an hour to come, with several sides missing, no apologies or checking in on us about the food, no similes. Seems like a local place that’s only welcoming to locals? Everyone was white, people who arrived after us were served first, given friendly greetings and apologies, got great service. Cute place and the food was ok, not great. Dietary restrictions: No gluten free celiac disease awareness
