The only thing that's really good here is the ambience. Our experiences yesterday: We wanted to drink a beer during a bike ride. I asked the waitress for the menu and wanted to order straight away. “Just” two bottled beers. She said that's not possible, she'll come to our place. We sat down and waited. After about 10 minutes my friend went into the house, ordered again (or so she thought) and can go out again. After another ten minutes I went back in and would have liked to take the drink with me straight away. I was reprimanded that this wasn't possible, you come straight out to our table. In fact, the young woman can, not with the drink, but to take the order. After another wait we finally got our beer. She tried to explain that they were completely overwhelmed and it was full. Yeah, sure. But why do you make things so complicated for yourself and not let guests order, pay and pick up directly at the counter? Oh yes, paying was also a problem. Of course you can't pay by card. Maybe money is laundered in the old rectory? In any case, the service and organization can be improved. I wouldn't order food here if I was hungry. A few weeks ago the two of us were here by bike in good weather and sat in the very well-kept beer garden. Even though it was quite busy, the service was on top of things; The cake was not for hungry cake eaters, as it was cut into small pieces, but it was homemade and really tasty. Moderately priced and a welcome destination for a bike tour. Wheelchair accessibility: Since the beer garden is completely equipped with coarse gravel, mobility with a wheelchair could be difficult. Overwhelmed staff, false promises to children, mice in front of the café, getting the wrong drinks. Absolutely not recommended! Food: 2 Service: 1
