Kingsway Restaurant - Haileybury

The food here is fresh and delicious. The Wonton soup is the best I have ever tasted and I have eaten in many Chinese food restaurants throughout the province. The chicken Lo Mein is a family favourite and it is so good that we often order a second portion to take home for lunches!

Nothing specifically positive or negative about this restaurant. The food was fine, what you'd expect from a Chinese-Canadian restaurant.Food was reasonably priced, it came out fast. I had a wonton soup and a chicken, pepper and onion dish. It needed a starch, but overall it was good. Vegetables were very crispy and fresh.Service was decent, nothing to get excited about. If staying in Haileybury, it's not a bad choice. If staying New Liskeard, it's not worth it. Go to the one across the street from Mr. Gas.

We had take out and the sauce leaked out of the dish through the bag and on my daughters pants. I had to run out and get some soap to wash. By the time I had the dinner it was cold and the chicken balls were super soggy (shouldn't have been in the sauce). Overall the taste was ok I think, but need better circumstances and to tell them chicken balls in its own container. Might try once more.

Food was very tasty. There was approx 20 of us ,..,,,,,only one waitress, they were not expecting us but the waitress did a wonderful job!

The food is always amazing, very homey atmosphere relaxed, a cool place to go with a few friends. They serve both Chinese and Canadian food, the prices are good. The Kingsway has the best Su Guy in the area.
